CUE DEE AB develops and supplies masts, towers and support for antennae and measurement equipment to customers globally in the telecom and wind measurement industries.
CUE DEE is a well known name among leading telecom industry companies around the world due to the fact that the products are light, flexible, easy to install, designed to make a small foot-print and to be optimal for their purposes. In the wind energy sector, CUE DEE is the preferred solution for demanding wind measurements due to the products' proven reliability and durability, also in extreme conditions.
We operate on a global market both directly through our own sales organization and through our network of agents and distributors. Deliveries have been made to more than 40 countries and over 80% of the annual turnover is exported outside Sweden.
The company was founded in 1979. The name CUE DEE is derived from Quality Design, the very basis of our existence.
The CUE DEE headquarters and development center are situated in Robertsfors, Sweden.

CUE DEE is certified according to ISO 14001:2004.
Our environmental management system emanates from the Natural step's four conditions to obtain a sustainable society. These are:
1. To prevent increasing concentrations of substances extracted from the earth's crust into the environment.
2. To prevent increasing concentrations of substances produced by society into the nature.
3. To avoid intrusion on the nature physically.
4. Not to create obstacles that prevents people from satisfying their needs.
We have identified the following major environmental aspects:
- To minimize the material consumption of steel and aluminum in our products
- To minimize the emissions in connection with transports
- 90% or our road transports of goods should be performed by vehicles rated Euro 3 or higher
- Annual reduction of minimum 5% weight of at least one major steel product and one major aluminum product

History
CUE DEE has been developing technical solutions and innovations for over 30 years. Please take a moment to reflect on our history - it will tell you the story of a company that has taken an active part in the great changes and progress of the telecom and wind industries through constant innovation and product development.
1978
The company was founded by Rainer Martinsson. In the very beginning the manufacturing was mainly focused on radio amateur antennas and brackets. Over 10 000 antennas were delivered.
1980s
In the later part of the 1980s mobile telescope masts was developed and delivered to e. g. Swedish Meteorological Institute and the Swedish Military. Also the third generation of mobile telecom (GSM) was about to be rolled out and CUE DEE took an active part in the product development regarding equipment to be mounted on buildings.
1989
CUE DEE launched a new type of antenna support system including the Aluscopic light weight aluminium mast. The Aluscopic mast was designed to carry antennas roof-tops and was immediate a great success because of its weight, size and strength.
1990s - early part
CUE DEE was chosen as general supplier of roof-top solutions by the mobile telecom operators Comvik in Sweden and Netcom in Norway.
CUE DEE also took part in the Swesite concept development in cooperation with Ericsson. This concept was based on mobile or semi-mobile 30-40 m mast solutions to enable fast mobile telecom roll-outs on new markets. This concept was a fast success and several sites were established all over the world. This also gave CUE DEE valuable further experience in world-wide logistics.
1993
The K-System for masts and towers was introduced with the K 600 profile. New products: K 900 and K 1350 were soon added and also connecting profiles.
1995
CUE DEE expanded rapidly and moved to new premises. Further focus on export sales and new export personnel was employed. This resulted in a substantial order to Proximus, a large telecom operator in Belgium.
1996
The Ballast Box System was introduced. The subsidiary CUE DEE Technica was founded in France.
1998
CUE DEE won an Ericsson innovation competition regarding a universal antenna bracket. The idea was patented and almost immediately incorporated in the Ericsson standard stock for world-wide distribution.
2000s - early part
The CUE DEE ballast box system was accepted by Playmobile and adapted in Poland resulting in great volumes.
2000s - later part Since the 1990s the CUE DEE concept has been adapted within the wind energy industry for wind measurement purposes. Especially since 2005 the development has been rapid with several deliveries, mainly in Europe.
2007
Acquisition by the company by Anicho Invest, a group of private owners, took place in 2007. This resulted in investments, reorganisation, intensified product development and further customer orientation.
2009
CUE DEE launched a new product line - the X-tower system, completing the range with a competitive product for medium high mast and towers.
2010
The wooden telecom pole CuePole was introduced.
